Office Admin Apprentice
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic office admin Apprentice to join our company.
The role will involve providing support to management with a broad variety of administrative tasks. Working closely with managers to determine what they need and how you can contribute to the company’s overall success.
What you'll do at work
- Full-time paid apprenticeship employment
- Practical, hands-on experience
- Mentoring and support from experienced Managers
- Full health and safety training if applicable
- Opportunity for personal development and promotion
- Updating internal databases
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Scanning, filing and matching documents
- Data entry
- Stock take
- Taking incoming calls and making outgoing calls to employees and external companies
- Obtaining information from suppliers - for example a cost of a training course, available dates
- Research to obtain further information
- Taking notes

What you'll learn
Course contents
Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem. Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management. Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work. Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures. Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
