Your new company

Our client is a major UK organisation operating within a complex, highly regulated environment, delivering large-scale services and infrastructure projects across the country. They are investing heavily in the evolution of their business capabilities, operating models and transformation agenda, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Architect to play a key role in shaping the future direction of the organisation. This is a business-facing architecture role, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure strategic initiatives deliver long-term value and align with the organisation's target operating model.

Your new role

As a Business Architect, you will be responsible for defining and evolving key business capabilities, ensuring they have a clear vision, target state and roadmap for future development. You'll act as the architectural authority for your assigned domains, helping shape investment decisions and ensuring change initiatives are aligned to broader business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining and maintaining capability blueprints, value streams and operating model designs.
  • Creating and managing capability roadmaps aligned to business strategy and transformation priorities.
  • Acting as the Design Authority for assigned capability areas, reviewing and guiding change proposals.
  • Identifying capability gaps, dependencies, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting business cases and transformation initiatives by providing architectural insight and recommendations.
  • Working with Business Analysts, Change Leads and senior stakeholders to ensure change delivers meaningful capability enhancement.
  • Facilitating workshops and design sessions to gain stakeholder alignment and drive informed decision-making.
  • Collaborating across business, data, process and technology teams to ensure joined-up, enterprise-wide solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
