Business Architect – Technology Infrastructure
£650 per day (Inside IR35)
6-month initial contract
Hybrid working – 2 days onsite Leiston
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Architect to support a major operational infrastructure programme within a highly regulated, enterprise-scale environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile transformation initiative, working across complex digital and operational change projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and delivering business architecture solutions across large-scale infrastructure and IT programmes, partnering with senior stakeholders, architects, and third-party delivery teams to drive effective business outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience coordinating complex infrastructure, facilities, telecommunications, networking, or connectivity projects.
- Experience across the design, planning, procurement, and installation of physical hardware and infrastructure.
- Experience supporting large-scale site mobilisation and construction programmes.
- Strong experience working collaboratively with:
- Facilities Management teams
- Site Operations teams
- Construction and delivery teams
- Network and Telecommunications Engineers
- Infrastructure and IT Operations teams
- Internet and Telephony Service Providers and contractors

- Highly organised, proactive, and delivery-focused.
- Comfortable working within live construction and operational environments.
- Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and requirements analysis skills.
- Confident managing suppliers, challenging delivery issues, and driving actions through to completion.
- Able to quickly build effective relationships across technical, operational, and project teams.
- Pragmatic and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate site connectivity initiatives across multiple construction, infrastructure, and operational workstreams.
- Act as the primary interface between Site Operations, Digital & IT, suppliers, and programme delivery teams.
- Support the mobilisation and deployment of connectivity services across new buildings, compounds, and operational areas.
- Work closely with facilities, construction, logistics, and contractor teams to understand site requirements, dependencies, and constraints.
- Ensure appropriate governance, assurance, and approval processes are completed.
- Support investment cases, project documentation, reporting, and programme governance as required.
- Coordinate supplier activities, ensuring delivery commitments, milestones, and dependencies are clearly understood and tracked.
- Proactively identify and escalate delivery risks, issues, and blockers.
- Maintain strong stakeholder alignment across operational, technical, and project teams.
- Support the operational transition, commissioning, and handover of connectivity services into business-as-usual operations.
