We have an excellent opportunity for an Business Administrative Assistant to join our Adult ADHD Service within the directorate of Mental Health.
This is a Full time role and you will be working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.
As an Business Administration Assistant for Adult ADHD Service you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team.
This is a diverse role and you will be working in a busy and fast paced environment within a team that value and support each other.
We are looking for people with administration experience, strong communication skills with the ability to work on their own and in a team and who can demonstrate our values of Compassion, Trust, Respect and Integrity.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)
As an Business Assistant you will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries from patients and referrers. You will be working proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff.
You will be processing referrals, data inputting, supporting the wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties. For this you will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills.
The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police.
You will need good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner.
