Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Banking Process Analyst to join our Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA) team in Glasgow on a 1 year fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in financial operations, banking, or finance administration.
- Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help ensure company and client payments are processed accurately and on time, support bank account reconciliations, investigate and resolve queries, and contribute to maintaining strong financial controls.
- The role offers exposure to a variety of banking and finance processes within a highly regulated environment.
We welcome applications from individuals who have experience working with company banking activities, finance processes, accounts administration, payment operations, or similar financial environments. Insurance experience is not essential; we are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
