Title: Business Central Functional Consultant
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Remote in UK with client travel
Salary: Up to £70K + Benefits (30 days holiday + bank holidays), enhanced parental leave, private medical etc.
Are you a highly experienced Business Central Functional Consultant with extensive knowledge/experience of Finance and Inventory, looking to transition into Pre-Sales? This Microsoft Partner provides tailored solutions to help businesses run, secure and improve their IT systems.
This opportunity will allow you to oversee full project lifecycles and mentor other consultants, ensuring high standards and knowledge sharing across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert in Dynamics 365 Business Central, delivering end-to-end implementation projects.
- Support the commercial team in pre-sales, providing demos, proposals, and quotations.
- Conduct detailed business process reviews, ensuring tailored solutions for client needs.
- Oversee project scoping, documentation, and planning for smooth execution.
- Manage system configuration, data migration, and testing throughout the implementation phase.
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals.
- Provide post-implementation support, addressing issues and system enhancements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends to ensure continued innovation and product adoption.
- Offer mentorship and training to junior consultants, fostering knowledge-sharing.

Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision (2013 onwards), with 5+ full lifecycle implementations
- Minimum of 3 Business Central implementations specifically within Finance and Inventory
- Strong experience with third-party solutions such as Continia and Jet Reports
- 3+ years’ experience in design, implementation, support, and management of Business Central solutions
- Proficiency with Office365 and its integration with Dynamics 365
- Previous experience with D365 development using C/AL code and SSRS report generation
- Working knowledge of Power BI or other business intelligence tools
- Proven ability to create accurate project plans and estimates, and deliver within scope, time, and budget
- Ability to manage clients with diverse needs across various industries
- Prior experience in a pre-sales or client engagement capacity
