About the Role

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a team member to join us and help oversee the daily operations of our business centre.

Position: Business Centre Assistant

Location: Cardiff, Wales
Type: Part Time (approx. 21 hours per week, days to be discussed initially)

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Centre Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business centre, ensuring smooth functioning and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the leasing process, including client onboarding, contract negotiations, and office space allocation.
  • Handle enquiries from potential clients, provide detailed information about our services, and conduct tours of the facility to showcase available workspace options.
  • Develop strategies to attract new clients and achieve occupancy targets.
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients, address their concerns, and provide assistance as needed to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, such as handling client queries, coordinating maintenance and repair work, and managing inventory and supplies.
  • Coordinate the setup and support of telephone and internet services for clients, ensuring reliable connectivity and smooth communication.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain health and safety records.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and adaptable to IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably in a business centre, co-working space, or hospitality industry would be a plus.
  • Numerate.
  • Up to date Social Media, promotion/advertising knowledge would be a big asset.
  • Flexible for holiday or absence cover.
