Business Change & Adoption Consultant
Location: Remote (with travel to Scotland)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Day rate (Outside IR35)
We are seeking a Business Change & Adoption Consultant to create and implement change, engagement, and adoption strategies that enable stakeholders to effectively shape requirements, understand the delivery journey, and adopt CRM-enabled ways of working. This role is crucial for ensuring that the CRM implementation is not only adopted technically but also embraced culturally within the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop an integrated change and adoption strategy that aligns with the project requirements, roadmap, and phased release plan.
- Craft a compelling case for change and create a consistent core narrative tailored to various audiences including leadership, business teams, technical specialists, and the wider organisation.
- Construct and manage a detailed stakeholder map and engagement plan, and establish a representative change network.
- Facilitate requirements validation and change-impact workshops in collaboration with Business Analysts and Programme Leads.
- Assess impacts on roles, processes, behaviours, information ownership, and management practices, and define necessary support measures.
- Establish readiness measures, adoption metrics, feedback mechanisms, and plan communications, training, and reinforcement activities.
- Prepare managers and business owners to integrate CRM use into their regular workflows.
- Utilize data from engagement, usage, feedback, training, and support to tailor interventions for different audience groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading business change and adoption for technology-enabled transformations, ideally with CRM systems or enterprise platforms.
- Experience building change strategies from the mobilisation phase through to requirements refinement.
- Skilled in facilitating workshops for both senior and operational stakeholders and translating findings into actionable change plans.
- Strong background in developing cases for change, communications plans, stakeholder segmentation, and defining readiness and adoption measures.
- Familiarity with public sector, regulatory, or similarly complex organisations is desirable.
- Qualifications like Prosci, APMG Change Management are beneficial, but practical delivery experience is prioritized.
