Change Business Analyst

Location: Livingston, Scotland (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
Contract: Initial 9 Months
Rate: Up to £450/day Inside IR35

The Opportunity

A leading global organisation is looking for an experienced Change Business Analyst to join a high-performing Change Delivery team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering business-critical transformation initiatives, supporting operational improvements, compliance-driven change, new product launches, and large-scale business transformation programmes. This position is ideal for a business-focused Change BA who thrives in complex environments, enjoys stakeholder engagement, and can independently drive analysis activities from discovery through to implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements across multiple change initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with business and technology stakeholders
  • Define current and future state processes and operating models
  • Conduct impact assessments and business process analysis
  • Support the development and implementation of Target Operating Models (TOMs)
  • Drive process improvement and process re-engineering activities
  • Act as the bridge between business and technology teams
  • Influence and challenge stakeholders to achieve the best business outcomes
  • Support change planning, readiness, testing and implementation activities
  • Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation and analysis artefacts
  • Work independently and take ownership of assigned workstreams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' Business Analysis experience
  • Proven background delivering business change and transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership teams
  • Demonstrable experience defining and implementing Target Operating Models (TOMs)
  • Expertise in current-state and future-state process mapping
  • Strong workshop facilitation and requirements elicitation skills
  • Experience working closely with technology teams whilst remaining business-focused
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritise workloads and hit the ground running
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Desirable Experience

  • Agile delivery environments
  • Compliance or regulatory change programmes
  • Media, broadcasting or entertainment sector experience
  • Experience using AI productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot
  • Familiarity with Visio, Confluence, SharePoint and Microsoft 365

Candidate Profile

We're looking for a seasoned Change BA who can:

  • Lead complex business change initiatives
  • Work confidently with Directors, Heads of Department and senior stakeholders
  • Drive workshops and decision-making sessions
  • Design future-state processes and operating models
  • Deliver multiple workstreams independently
  • Partner effectively with technology teams to deliver business outcomes
