Job Title: Business Change Lead
Location: Remote - UK
Contract Length: 6-12 Months
Rate: £600 - £625 per day (Inside IR35)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Change Lead to join a major transformation programme delivering significant business and technology change across a large, complex organisation. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving change adoption, ensuring business readiness, and enabling the successful delivery of programme benefits across multiple stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business change strategies and adoption plans aligned to programme objectives
- Lead the delivery of change activities across complex business and technology transformation initiatives
- Oversee stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, and organisational readiness activities
- Act as an escalation point for change-related risks, issues, and dependencies
- Navigate complex and politically sensitive environments to achieve successful outcomes
- Apply and adapt recognised change management frameworks, methodologies, and tools to support programme delivery

- Proven experience leading large-scale business change within complex transformation programmes
- Strong track record of developing and implementing change strategies, plans, and adoption activities
- Experience delivering change across both business and technology-led transformations
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders
- Demonstrated capability leading through influence within matrix organisations
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies and best practice frameworks
- Experience managing organisational change risk, impact assessments, and business readiness activities
- Background within public sector, shared services, ERP, HR, Finance, or large-scale digital transformation programmes is highly desirable
