Level: Early to Mid-Career

Contract Type: Contract

Clearance: Active SC (Security Check) clearance required. Candidates must already hold current SC clearance; sponsorship for clearance is not available.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Change Analyst / Business Analyst to join a team working on big client projects on a contract basis. This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and delivery teams, helping shape how change is planned, communicated, and embedded across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders
  • Support the design and delivery of change initiatives, including process mapping and gap analysis
  • Assist in developing business cases, change impact assessments, and stakeholder communications
  • Work closely with project managers, change leads, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
  • Support user engagement, training, and adoption activities during change rollout
  • Produce clear documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies related to business change

Essential Requirements

  • Active SC clearance — candidates must currently hold this; applications without existing SC clearance cannot be considered
  • 2–5 years' experience in a business analyst, business change, or related role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with requirements gathering techniques (workshops, interviews, process mapping)
  • Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies
  • Proficiency with tools such as Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent

Desirable

  • Business analysis or change management certification (e.g. BCS, APMG, Prosci)
  • Experience working within government, defence, or other regulated environments
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery approaches
