Business Change & Implementation Manager

Contract | Initial 3-6 Months | Outside IR35

Location: Essex (Hybrid Working)

Rate: Up to £450 per day

Start Date: ASAP

Overview

We are supporting a growing healthcare organisation undergoing a significant programme of technology-enabled business transformation.

They are seeking an experienced Business Change & Implementation Manager to lead the successful delivery, implementation and adoption of business-critical systems, processes and operational change across the organisation.

Working closely with the IT Director and senior stakeholders, you will ensure new technologies are successfully embedded, drive stakeholder engagement and deliver measurable business improvements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Change professional who enjoys working across both technology and business teams, ensuring change is adopted and delivers lasting value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of business change initiatives enabled through new systems, processes and technologies.
  • Develop and execute change management and adoption strategies across multiple business functions.
  • Manage end-to-end implementation activities from planning through to go-live and business adoption.
  • Conduct Change Impact Assessments and Business Readiness Assessments.
  • Develop implementation plans, transition activities and operational readiness plans.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, user documentation and operational processes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to embed new ways of working and drive successful adoption.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to develop communication and engagement plans throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Identify training requirements and support the development of user training and adoption programmes.
  • Monitor delivery progress, remove barriers and ensure measurable business outcomes are achieved.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders and operational teams to maintain momentum throughout delivery.

The successful contractor will ideally demonstrate experience in:

  • Delivering Business Change or Transformation programmes.
  • Implementing enterprise systems, digital solutions or operational technology projects.
  • Driving organisational change, user adoption and business readiness.
  • Producing Change Impact Assessments and implementation plans.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.
  • Communications planning and change engagement.
  • Training needs analysis and supporting user adoption.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Contract Details

  • Initial 3-6 month contract with strong potential for extension.
  • Outside IR35.
  • Hybrid working with travel to Harlow, Essex as required.
  • Up to £450 per day.
  • Informal interviews taking place next week.
