Position Description
At CGI, you’ll help organisations turn change data into actionable insight, enabling transformation programmes to deliver stronger adoption and measurable business outcomes. As a Business Change & Insights Consultant, you’ll take ownership of analysing how change is landing across organisations, translating complex data into evidence that helps leaders make better decisions and act earlier on emerging risks. You’ll have the freedom to find creative ways to visualise adoption, readiness and benefits, while working alongside experienced change leaders, programme teams and data specialists. Supported by CGI’s collaborative community and opportunities to develop your expertise, you’ll help clients build sustainable change capability while shaping our evolving approach to analytics-led transformation.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List 2025 and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This is a hybrid position.
Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will take ownership of designing and delivering data-driven change insight across transformation programmes and portfolios. You’ll bring together data covering adoption, readiness, capability and benefits realisation, turning it into clear evidence that enables leaders to understand progress, identify risks and determine where interventions will have the greatest impact.
Working alongside CGI change leaders, programme teams, clients and data specialists, you’ll have the scope to experiment with creative ways of presenting information and move organisations beyond qualitative assessments towards more diagnostic and predictive insight. You’ll be supported in developing your change expertise while helping clients strengthen their own analytics capability and contributing ideas, tools and methodologies to CGI’s wider Enterprise & People Change practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
