Business Change Manager
16 month Fixed Term Contract
£47,389 - £56,535

This is an exciting time to join the Business Change team at a leading university in the Midlands, supporting innovative projects that introduce new technologies, enhance existing capabilities, and enable meaningful organisational change.
You will contribute to a large-scale transformation programme supporting the university’s online learning strategy, with a focus on the development and delivery of high-quality digital and online education. This is a unique opportunity to help shape how a major transformation in online and digital education is defined and delivered from the ground up. The role will particularly appeal to individuals who enjoy working in evolving environments, and are motivated by shaping outcomes at both strategic and operational levels.
You will work across multiple workstreams, collaborating with senior stakeholders, academic teams, and professional services to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to an evolving programme. Experience or knowledge of online learning models, the higher education environment, and large-scale digital transformation programmes would be advantageous. You will play a key role in delivering efficient, streamlined, and sustainable change. You will have the opportunity to make a tangible impact by building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, shaping solutions, and helping to deliver positive change that supports the university’s strategic ambitions.

About You
- A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience, including experience in a business change role.
- You will build strong relationships, communicate confidently, and bring out the best in others.
- You will be the ‘voice of the customer’, ensuring change reflects the needs of those impacted and delivers effective, user-focused outcomes.
- You will understand how people respond to change, with strong listening and influencing skills to support positive, sustainable outcomes.
- Resilient, flexible, adaptable and able to navigate evolving situations and respond confidently to new challenges.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with experience of turning opportunities into practical improvements.
- The ability to think strategically, pragmatically, and positively about business, product, technical, and cross-functional change.
- Comfortable providing constructive challenge, ensuring decisions remain focused on benefits realisation and positive outcomes for end users.
