Business Change Manager

Location: London - Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite
Start Date: November 2026
End Date: December 2026 – likely to extend
Daily Rate: Inside IR35

This is an exciting opportunity to join Deloitte Operations for an engagement with one of our clients.

The Role

Business Change Manager required to support the people change, adoption and implementation activities for key elements of the CLIENT AI Programme. The role will lead business readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications and adoption activities to ensure successful embedding of AI-enabled ways of working across the organisation.

The individual should have significant business change and transformation experience, ideally gained in a complex regulated environment, and be comfortable working with senior stakeholders and product-based technology teams. Experience supporting the implementation of AI solutions, particularly Agentic AI, is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver change management activities to support the successful implementation of AI programme initiatives, helping to shape the rollout approach, deployment strategy and adoption plans to maximise business readiness and uptake.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across senior leaders, business teams and technology delivery teams to drive alignment and support for change.
  • Assess business impacts and develop strategies to support adoption, manage resistance and embed new ways of working.
  • Design and deliver communications, engagement and knowledge-sharing activities to build awareness, understanding and confidence in AI solutions.
  • Drive business readiness activities, ensuring people, processes and teams are prepared for change.
  • Provide governance, oversight and quality assurance of the training plan and associated deliverables developed by third-party suppliers, ensuring they are fit for purpose, aligned to programme objectives and organisational needs, and support successful business adoption.
  • Monitor adoption and change outcomes, identifying risks and implementing actions to maximise uptake and benefits realisation.
  • Provide business change expertise and advice to programme, business and technology stakeholders to support successful delivery and sustainable change.

  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) delivering business change and transformation initiatives within large, complex organisations.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing change management strategies, rollout approaches and adoption plans to support organisational change and the embedding of new ways of working.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing senior leaders, business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Experience leading business readiness, adoption and implementation activities for technology-enabled change programmes.
  • Experience designing and delivering communications, engagement and awareness activities to support successful change outcomes.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, suppliers and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of change, communications, learning and adoption deliverables.
  • Ability to monitor adoption outcomes, identify risks and issues, and implement actions to maximise benefits realisation.
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across business and technology functions.
