About The Role

At Bournemouth University, we believe that to learn is to change. The BU2035 Delivery Team exists to help the University move confidently from strategic ambition to real, lasting change. We're helping to shape how the institution evolves over the next decade and beyond. As our new Business Change Manager, you’ll help to ensure that the impact of change is understood, planned for, and embedded into day-to-day operations.

This position is eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa, however BU’s salary for the role may not meet the salary threshold required for sponsorship.

You can assess your eligibility for sponsorship on the UKVI website.

About The Department

This role sits within our BU2035 delivery function and focuses across a range of strategic initiatives, supporting leaders, managers, and teams as they move from current ways of working to future state processes, systems, and behaviours. Success will come from building strong relationships, understanding operational realities, and helping people navigate change in a practical and sustainable way.

Enabling BU to perform and transform.

While currently an individual contributor role within the Strategic Change Team, there is an opportunity to shape how business change is delivered in the future and contribute to the development of a wider change function.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
