Business Change Manager

Duration: Contract

Location: London

Hybrid working: 50% of time in the office

Overview of role

Senior Business Change Manager to lead the people change, adoption and implementation activity associated with key elements of the AI programme.

Will lead business readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications and adoption to embed AI-enabled ways of working.

Will work closely with senior stakeholders, technology/product teams and third-party suppliers.

Experience level: circa 8+ years relevant experience.

Essential requirements

  • Experience working within Financial Services, regulatory bodies or similarly complex regulated environments.
  • Significant experience, typically 8+ years, delivering business change/transformation in large, complex organisations.
  • Proven experience developing change strategies, rollout approaches and adoption plans.
  • Strong senior stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.
  • Experience leading business readiness and adoption for technology-enabled change.
  • Strong communications, engagement and awareness experience.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Ability to monitor adoption, identify risks/issues and drive benefits realisation.
  • Strong understanding of recognised change management methodologies and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship management capability.

  • Regulated environment experience, ideally financial services, government or regulatory organisations.
  • Experience implementing/adopting AI, Generative AI and/or Agentic AI.
  • Experience with product-based technology teams and agile delivery.
  • Benefits management and measurement of adoption/business value from transformation.
  • Relevant change qualification, e.g. Prosci, APMG Change Management or MSP.
