Senior Consultant, Change Management

We're looking for an experienced Business Change Manager to join our team. You'll take charge of change workstreams within large, complex business and technology programmes. This is a hands-on leadership position, not a support role. You'll be responsible for a defined part of a major programme, act as a go-to advisor for clients, and play a part in building out our change capability across the UK.

We'd prefer someone on a permanent basis. However, given the number of clients we're currently working with, we're also happy to hear from strong contractors.

Candidates should be able to get into Central London 2 to 3 days a week.

The ideal candidate will come from either a management consulting background or a client-side change role.

What we are after

You've run change from start to finish on business transformation work and you're looking for the next step up, not a supporting position. You're used to heading up a change workstream or working as a Business Change Manager on a bigger programme, setting the direction, overseeing delivery, and managing a small team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Solid experience delivering change across private and public sector organisations, ideally on large business or tech-driven transformations
  • A history of running change workstreams, answerable for the planning, delivery, and results within a wider programme
  • Time spent as a Business Change Manager or team lead, including managing people directly and helping them develop
  • A good working knowledge of established change frameworks (Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR), and the judgement to use them sensibly depending on the situation
  • Practical experience across the main areas of change work, from stakeholder engagement and impact assessment to communications, training, and benefits tracking
  • The skill to turn programme goals into workable, structured change plans, keeping on top of dependencies, risks, and what stakeholders expect
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with senior people on the client side
  • A practical, get-it-done attitude that works well in busy, changeable programme settings
  • A genuine interest in helping the practice grow, whether that's through shaping methodology or mentoring more junior consultants
