We're seeking a Business Change Support on an affiliate hybrid basis for up to 6 months to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

Summary

As a Business Change Support professional, you will be instrumental in delivering transformational change across our organisation's Charging Evolution Programme. This role will ensure the seamless implementation of programme initiatives by providing direct support to project teams, managing stakeholder engagement, and driving adoption of new processes within live operational environments. Your contribution will be essential in bridging the gap between strategic programme objectives and day-to-day operational delivery, ultimately enabling our organisation to realise the full benefits of this significant business transformation.

You Will

  • Provide day-to-day programme support, developing comprehensive plans and change management approaches that align with programme objectives
  • Lead local communications and stakeholder engagement, serving as the primary point of contact for change teams across different areas
  • Support project teams in structuring, communicating, and delivering change initiatives into live operational environments
  • Develop and manage benefits realisation strategies, ensuring measurable outcomes are achieved and tracked
  • Prepare detailed documentation including Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) registers and comprehensive programme reports
  • Directly support local teams with tailored change management strategies and implementation support
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between central programme teams and local delivery units
  • Monitor and report on programme progress, identifying risks and opportunities for optimisation

Ideally, We'd Like

  • Proven experience in programme or project management, preferably within large-scale organisational change initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise in business change management and change adoption strategies
  • Strong experience in stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and delivery
  • Experience working within public sector or government environments
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and locations simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving and challenge management
  • Flexibility and adaptability when working in dynamic, evolving programme environments

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland. Work visa sponsorship will not be provided, either now or in the future, for this position.

This role is also exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act due to the nature of the role and organisation, so those who have convictions spent or otherwise would not be eligible for enhanced DBS.
