Job Description

Role Overview

Business Change & Test Analyst – Requirement Gathering, Coordinating, Testing, UAT, Debugging, Tracing – Permanent – Up to £45k Base + Bonus – Hybrid – Aylesbury

About the Company

My Client, a leading UK pension provider, is seeking a Business Change Analyst with a focus on Testing to support the delivery of business change, process improvement, and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of business, process, and technology change initiatives by working closely with business and technical teams.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements, user stories, and process improvements.
  • Support Project Managers with planning, coordination, and the tracking of project activities, risks, and dependencies.
  • Prepare and execute test scenarios and scripts.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Manage defect logging, retesting, and test documentation.
  • Produce key project documentation, including requirements, process maps, meeting notes, and status reports.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to understand business needs and identify effective solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor progress against agreed plans.
  • Support business readiness activities through communications, training, and change implementation.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in Business Analysis, Business Change, or Project Support.
  • Experience supporting software testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience preparing and executing test scripts and recording results.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business users, developers, and project stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of business processes and systems, with a willingness to develop further knowledge.
  • Experience within financial services or pensions is desirable but not essential.
