About The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Compliance Officer to provide comprehensive support for the business across Project Centre, with particular responsibility for compliance, supplier management, audits, governance reporting, and operational coordination.
This is an exciting role and an opportunity to be a central point of contact for internal teams, external suppliers, auditors, and group functions ensuring that systems, processes, and reporting requirements are managed accurately.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all documentation and records remain current and compliant
- Ensuring the QMS is kept up to date to respond to evolving needs of the business
- Support the development and delivery of Quality Management System (QMS) training, including QMS-specific onboarding sessions
- Lead external BSI audits, acting as the main point of contact and coordinating internal responses
- Act as the main point of contact for internal Group audits, supporting reviews and evidence gathering
- Coordinate internal project inspections, including scheduling, inspections, reporting to SLT, and escalating issues where necessary
- Manage third-party supplier processes, including reports on expired certificates, supplier communications, checks to approve suppliers into the approved pool, reinstatement checks, and ongoing compliance monitoring
- Support reporting on third-party spend profiles which support the identification and validation of efficiency opportunities or negotiation of terms within the supply chain.
- Coordinate and attend SourceDogg (supply chain platform) meetings, draft questionnaires
- Procure project-related items and PPE periodically in liaison with the Health & Safety Manager and coordinate ensuring timely delivery to project teams, maintaining accurate stock records alongside cost controls.
- Identify and mitigate strategic, operational, and financial risks across the business. Ensure robust governance and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Champion sustainability and social value initiatives across the business, aligning with client expectations and corporate responsibility goals.
- Key in driving adoption of digital tools and innovative practices to improve service delivery, data management, and client engagement.

Experience and/or qualification as an Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 would be an advantage
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in a business support, compliance, or governance-focused role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience supporting audits, compliance frameworks, or quality management systems.
- High level of attention to detail and confidence handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports and senior-level updates.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams and shared document systems.
