Are you ready to start a career in consulting within Aerospace, Defence and Security (ADS), applying your defence experience in a new way?

Our growing ADS Consulting team is looking for a Junior Consultant to join us. This role is particularly well suited to individuals with experience in the Aerospace, Defence and Security (ADS) sector, including those who have served in the Armed Forces or are transitioning into civilian careers. However, we welcome applications from anyone with relevant experience, skills and an interest in building a career in consulting.

You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative team, working with clients across the UK to solve real business challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes. This is a generalist consulting role, giving you the chance to develop a broad range of skills while working across different projects and environments.

We offer great career progression opportunities, flexible benefits to suit your needs, and structured training and development to help you succeed.

This role includes hybrid working, with an expectation to be onsite 2–3 days per week in Bristol, London, or at client locations across the UK as required.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting senior team members to deliver consulting assignments across defence and security clients.
  • Contributing to a range of project activities, including research, analysis, and problem-solving.
  • Working with clients to understand challenges and help shape practical, deliverable solutions.
  • Supporting delivery of business and technology change across a variety of programmes.
  • Building your consulting capability through hands-on experience and structured development.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive team culture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
