Business Consultant – Change Management | SAP S/4HANA
What if your next SAP transformation role gave you the chance to work for one of the UK’s major technology and consulting organisations, delivering change inside some of the country’s most complex manufacturing environments?
We’re looking for a Business Consultant specialising in Change Management to join a major, long-term SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
This is a genuinely hands-on role. You won’t be sitting on the sidelines writing change plans for somebody else to deliver. You’ll be embedded with the customer, working with people from the manufacturing shop floor through to senior management, helping turn a major technology transformation into lasting operational change.
The opportunity
You’ll be joining a large consulting organisation with the scale to offer exposure to major transformation programmes across manufacturing, aerospace and defence. Your initial focus will be a significant SAP S/4HANA programme, modernising established systems and processes across a complex manufacturing environment.
That means getting close to the operation: understanding how people currently work, identifying where change will have the biggest impact, running workshops and training, managing resistance and helping teams successfully adopt new technology and processes.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You’ll work alongside customer teams, technology specialists, third-party suppliers and other consultants to take change from implementation through to adoption.
Manufacturing experience really matters here. These are operational environments where downtime has a genuine business impact and where processes may have been established for many years. You’ll need the confidence to walk onto the shop floor, understand the challenges people are facing and bring them with you through the transformation.
What will make you successful?
The strongest candidates will have already delivered SAP S/4HANA change within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
We need someone who can demonstrate genuine ownership. When we talk, you should be able to explain the SAP programmes you’ve worked on, what you personally delivered, the challenges you encountered and how you helped get the implementation successfully embedded into day-to-day operations.
Experience within aerospace, automotive, OEM or complex manufacturing would be particularly relevant.
You don’t need a long list of Change Management certifications. They’re useful, but your experience of actually delivering transformation is much more important.
