Blackmont Consulting Cyprus Branch is a student-led consulting hub located on the island of Cyprus, connecting higher education with the local business and social-impact ecosystem. The branch brings together undergraduate and postgraduate students from diverse disciplines to work on real-world projects that strengthen leadership, analytical, and collaboration skills. Operating within an emerging Mediterranean innovation landscape, the team offers pro bono consulting services to NGOs, nonprofits, and early-stage ventures, ensuring that limited resources do not hinder positive change. Through research-driven solutions, mentorship, and practical engagements, the Cyprus branch supports impactful initiatives while helping students develop as future leaders in consulting and social innovation.
Role Description
The Business Consultant (students only) internship is a remote role focused on supporting mission-driven organizations through structured consulting engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Conducting market, industry, and stakeholder research
- Analyzing organizational challenges
- Contributing to data-driven recommendations and action plans

Interns collaborate in project teams to:
- Design frameworks
- Prepare presentations
- Develop deliverables for NGOs, nonprofits, and early-stage ventures
The role also involves:
- Participating in client meetings
- Capturing requirements
- Refining solutions based on feedback
- Working closely with mentors to improve consulting, communication, and project management skills
This internship is designed to provide practical experience that complements academic studies while contributing to social impact projects.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research abilities, including gathering and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data for business and social-impact projects.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and client-facing materials in English.
- Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working in diverse, cross-cultural student consulting teams.
- Basic understanding of business concepts such as strategy, operations, marketing, or organizational development.
- Ability to manage time effectively, handle multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines in a remote setting.
- Comfort with digital tools for remote work (e.g., video conferencing, shared documents, project management platforms).
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or postgraduate program (any discipline), with a strong interest in consulting, social impact, or entrepreneurship.
- Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship; prior experience in student organizations or project work is an advantage.
