Role Description
As a Business Consulting Specialist Intern, you will support client projects by conducting research, analyzing data, and developing insights to address organizational challenges. You will help prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for NGOs, NPOs, and start-ups, working closely with project leads and fellow student consultants. Day-to-day activities may include market and financial analysis, process mapping, stakeholder interviews, and assisting in the design of strategic and operational solutions. You will collaborate in virtual meetings, contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, and help refine consulting frameworks and tools. This is a volunteer, remote role that offers flexible hours and valuable hands-on experience in management consulting.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Interest or experience in consulting and management consulting, including problem-solving for organizations.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Basic understanding of finance, financial analysis, or business economics.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in business, economics, social sciences, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in remote teams, manage time independently, and meet project deadlines.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online meeting platforms).
- Demonstrated interest in the non-profit or start-up ecosystem and a commitment to creating positive impact.
