Join us in shaping the financial foundations of a new Contract Logistics site within our network. As Business Controller, you will provide the financial insight and discipline needed to support profitable growth, informed decision-making, and operational excellence from day one.
Your Role
Working closely with the Site Manager and international stakeholders, you will translate business performance into clear, actionable information. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and monitoring KPIs
- Preparing forecasts and cost-center analyses
- Supporting budgeting and investment decisions
- Identifying risks and budget deviations
- Contributing to project calculations during the offer and launch phases
Salary range
31.454 – 45.000 Euro per year

Your Responsibilities
- Coordinating accounting and controlling activities across the site, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent financial information.
- Monitoring key business and financial indicators, presenting performance transparently to site management and relevant stakeholders.
- Identifying budget deviations and emerging financial risks at an early stage, enabling timely corrective action.
- Developing and operating management information systems that provide reliable, relevant, and actionable business insights.
- Managing the risk-management process by coordinating risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting activities.
- Planning and controlling budgets, forecasts, cost centers, investments, and financial performance in line with business objectives.
- Coordinating management information related to the achievement of corporate goals, with particular focus on profitability, earnings, and sustainable business performance.
- Supporting site leadership as a trusted financial business partner by providing critical analysis, challenging assumptions, and translating financial data into practical recommendations.

Your Profile
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline, would be ideal.
- Bringing several years of relevant experience in finance, controlling, or business analysis, ideally within the logistics or Contract Logistics sector.
- A good understanding of business administration, financial planning, performance management, and management reporting, ideally within an asset-intensive, service-based industry.
- Advanced Excel skills and practical experience with SAP or comparable ERP and financial-management systems.
- Excellent command of the English language, both in speaking and writing. Fluency in any other European languages, particularly the German language, would be a plus.
- Communicating clearly, confidently, and tactfully with colleagues and stakeholders at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Complex problem-solving abilities through structured analysis, root-cause investigation, sound judgement, and practical, sustainable solutions.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, organisation, and focus when managing financial data and competing priorities.
- Strong critical-thinking skills to challenge assumptions, identify inconsistencies, understand underlying causes, and make well-informed recommendations.
