PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
BBC Studios Global Content’s HQ team are responsible for shaping, agreeing and monitoring the overall strategic and operational targets of our UK and international business areas (which consists of 20 UK production units & labels, 8 international production bases and a market-leading global Sales business). As Business Coordinator to our Strategy & Ops leads as well as Head of AI Creative Lab, you’ll play a key role in facilitating the smooth running of both teams, becoming a key point of contact for genre and business leads, and support the successful delivery of the division’s strategic priorities.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
- Core administrative support to 3 x Global Content Leads, including diary management, resolving diary conflicts across teams and time zones, coordination of meetings, travel, accommodation, and events support.
- Work effectively with other Coordinators across BBC Studios and, where applicable, the wider BBC to ensure that the business is effectively supported, and administrative support services are delivered efficiently.
- Additional team support for the Strategy & Operations team, including coordinating the central business calendar to enable better business planning within HQ.
- Coordinate team IT requests, user administration, systems access and record keeping.
- Supporting the implementation of strategic priorities and operational projects, providing and collating information as required. Help cascade information to ensure effective communication flow.
- Participate in projects/working groups and initiatives to offer general administration support, including preparing agendas and papers, identifying actions, tracking progress against milestones and objectives, and monitoring delivery as required to help group achieve project goals and support timely delivery.
- Undertake other duties appropriate to the post, including the collation and preparation of invoices, raising purchase orders and processing expenses as required.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Experience of providing administration assistance, including cross-team diary management, in at least one organisation.
- High attention to detail and practical experience of gathering, analysing and collating complex and confidential information. Basic analytical skills, with experience of providing Ml data reports.
- Organised, with ability to prioritise own workload effectively, to coordinate activities and conflicting demands to ensure that tight deadlines are met.
- Good communication skills both orally and in writing, and the ability to target content for the audience.
- Strong computer skills with strong experience of office software packages (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work with limited supervision, using own initiative to resolve most problems.
- Demonstrable experience of business coordination support, including in conjunction with online/AI tools and an interest in emerging ways of working with AI.
DESIRABLE
- Knowledge or experience of Airtable.
- Media sector experience with understanding of the content production process.
- Relevant business management and/or project management qualification.
