Role Description And Purpose

  • Support the UK CEO Office with the oversight of the implementation of the Project GLOBE ITO TOM & Operations & IT Target Organisation
  • Support the UK CEO & COO with the oversight of the UK business
  • Hands-on role in ensuring CASS compliance

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of UK Operational Strategy: Support the UK CEO Office and COO with the UK oversight of Project GLOBE, regarding the team and personnel changes within IT & Operations.
  • Implementation of Target Operating Model: Support the UK CEO Office and COO in the UK planning for the various platform migrations required to implement the new TOM.
  • Identify UK-specific requirements
  • Identify UK-specific risks
  • Track UK-impacting change to the COO perimeter
  • CASS Compliance: Aid the UK CEO (SMF1 responsibilities) COO & senior CASS Oversight Manager[CM1.1]:
    • Ensuring the Firm’s systems and controls are effective
    • Reporting to the firm’s governing body in relation to CASS matters
    • Reporting as necessary to the FCA
  • Support the UK CEO Office in the day-to-day oversight of the COO perimeter through:
    • Coordination of support activities enabling the achievement of the COO’s business objectives and local governance requirements aligned with UK CEO office goals.
    • Capture, generate & collate management information across the COO function allowing the COO to provide effective oversight to the UK CEO.
  • Support the UK CEO Office, UK COO & Global COO with ad-hoc day to day tasks, specific assignments and projects critical to the UK CEO function.
  • Data & Documentation: Ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory data, submissions, and documentation; maintain version control and auditable records
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as gateway for engagement or collaboration with the central functions in AM locally, globally and with UK Territory.

Role Requirements

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES (TECHNICAL / BEHAVIOURAL / LEADERSHIP)

  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Highly numerate, strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Professional and positive approach and ability to cope under pressure
