Data Business Analyst EHS Data Migration / SaaS Platforms
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Business Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS and PaaS environments, specializing in data migration, data integration, data governance, and regulatory data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong business analysis capabilities, hands-on experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, and a proven track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions involving large-scale data transformation and migration projects.
The role will support the implementation of WERCS UL and related Product Stewardship solutions, ensuring successful migration, integration, and governance of product, formulation, component, and regulatory data across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and data requirements from stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand business objectives, data requirements, and compliance needs.
- Analyze existing business processes, systems, and data flows to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Data Migration and Data Mapping
- Lead end-to-end data migration activities between source systems and target platforms, including WERCS UL.
- Analyze source systems to identify data structures, relationships, dependencies, and transformation requirements.
- Define and document data mapping rules, transformation logic, validation criteria, and reconciliation processes.
- Develop and maintain:
- Data Mapping Documents
- Data Dictionaries
- Migration Specifications
- Reconciliation Reports
- Data Governance Documentation
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and consistency throughout migration activities.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in SaaS and PaaS environments.
- Proven experience in Data Migration, Data Mapping, and Data Integration projects.
- Strong understanding of:
- Data Governance
- Data Quality Management
- Data Transformation
- Data Reconciliation
- Master Data Management (MDM)
- Experience working within Agile Scrum frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
