About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on an initial 6-month contract basis. This role is pivotal in supporting a strategic data integration project for a leading Financial Services client. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating seamless data flow and integration across systems within a cloud-based Azure environment. You will collaborate closely with technical teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure that data is accurately mapped, transformed, validated, and delivered in a timely manner. Your expertise will help enable the client to achieve efficient data management, governance, and integration, ultimately supporting business objectives and enhancing decision-making processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within data integration or data-driven projects, preferably in Financial Services
- Strong understanding of data flows, data mapping, and system interactions
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and APIs
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data quality and governance
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
- Experience supporting API integration within cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed data mapping and analysis to support robust system and dataset integration
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper data transformation, integration, and validation processes
- Support the use and integration of APIs within a cloud-first Azure environment
- Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements in an Agile delivery setting
- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency align with enterprise standards
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate clear communication
- Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to maintain project timelines and quality standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in data processes and project workflows
