About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a strategic data integration project for a prominent financial services client. This is a contract role initially lasting six months, designed for a professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and possesses a deep understanding of data systems within cloud-based architectures. The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless data flow across various systems by collaborating closely with technical teams, product owners, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data mapping, system integration, and API utilization within an Azure cloud environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, enhance data governance standards, and develop expertise in cloud-based data solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in data integration or data-driven projects
  • Strong understanding of data flows, data mapping, and system interactions
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and API integrations
  • Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for data quality and governance
  • Experience working within the financial services sector is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed data mapping and analysis to support the integration of systems and datasets
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data is accurately transformed, integrated, and validated
  • Support the use and integration of APIs within a cloud-first Azure environment
  • Gather and refine business requirements in an Agile delivery setting, working with product owners, developers, and QA teams
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency align with enterprise standards and policies
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and understanding
  • Identify and resolve data-related issues, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements
  • Maintain documentation related to data flows, mappings, and system interactions
