About The Role

We are supporting a prominent Financial Services client in their strategic data integration initiative and are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the project on an initial 6-month contract basis. This role is pivotal in facilitating seamless data flow and integration across various systems within a cloud-based Azure environment. The Business Analyst will act as a crucial link between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that data-related requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and implemented. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in data mapping, system integration, and API utilization, particularly within cloud environments. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of data delivery, supporting the client’s digital transformation goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically in data integration or data-driven projects
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and API management
  • Strong understanding of data flows, data mapping, and system interactions
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data quality, governance, and compliance
  • Experience working within the Financial Services sector is highly preferred
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed data mapping and analysis to support system and dataset integration
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure data transformation, validation, and proper integration
  • Support the use and integration of APIs within a cloud-first Azure environment
  • Gather, analyze, and refine business requirements in an Agile delivery framework
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency align with enterprise standards and policies
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate clear communication
  • Assist in identifying and resolving data-related issues to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Document processes, requirements, and technical specifications for ongoing reference and compliance
