We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Data Analyst (BA/DA) to join an exciting Data Algorithms engagement based in Glasgow. This opportunity would suit a highly analytical professional who can combine strong business analysis capabilities with hands-on data analysis experience and confidently work with both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business, data, and technology stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and requirements.
- Gather, analyse, and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, issues, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear specifications for technical and data teams.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to capture requirements and agree on priorities.
- Support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions and algorithms.
- Analyse existing processes and data flows, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements.
- Produce clear documentation, process maps, requirements, user stories, and supporting analysis.
- Work collaboratively with developers, data specialists, project managers, and other stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support testing, validation, and implementation activities to ensure solutions meet agreed business requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
