Company Description

Severn Trent Services - Aqualytix is a specialist water hygiene and legionella control business, providing expert water safety, compliance and risk management services to organisations across the UK.

As part of Severn Trent, we combine specialist technical expertise with the scale, resources and reliability of one of the UK’s leading water companies. Our teams work with customers across sectors including healthcare, education, facilities management, commercial property, manufacturing and public services.

We help organisations manage the risks associated with water systems through a comprehensive range of services, including legionella risk assessments, water hygiene monitoring, sampling and analysis, remedial works, compliance support and ongoing water system management.

The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join the Aqualytix team.

This is a genuine new business-focused role, with responsibility for identifying, developing and winning new opportunities across the FM, Healthcare, Education, Commercial Property and Public Sector markets.

You will be responsible for building relationships with senior decision-makers, understanding customer requirements and developing commercially strong solutions that deliver value for both the customer and Aqualytix.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
