Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum

Company background

Righton Fasteners are a leading specialist in bespoke component kitting and packing services to the OEM, catalogue, and end-user market in the UK and Ireland. We supply a wide range of industrial fasteners and related services to a variety of industry sectors including Transport, Industrial Pipework, Electronics, Energy, Metal Architecture, Machinery, Hospitality and Metal Hardware. We are part of a £1billion investment group.

Job description

We’re recruiting an experienced Business Development / Account Manager to join a small, established business supplying products into the manufacturing and engineering sector.

The role is predominantly office-based, with opportunities to visit customers across the UK over time.

What does the role involve?

In your first few months, you will receive a thorough induction, spending time in each department of the business.

  • You’ll have existing customers to look after and develop, but a key part of the role will also be identifying new opportunities, opening doors and bringing new customers on board.
  • This isn’t a heavily scripted sales environment with rigid call targets. We are looking for someone with the drive to succeed who can use their own initiative, build genuine customer relationships and spot commercial opportunities. We have a very diverse product range, meaning you will have a huge scope to sell to a variety of different markets and customers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
