Ready to take your business development career to the next level? We're looking for a proactive, commercially minded Business Development Adviser to join a high-performing team and make an immediate impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic professional services environment, supporting growth across key sectors, service lines, and offices.
The role
As a Business Development Adviser, you'll be a vital driver of delivering results; turning strategy into action and ensuring delivery across key growth initiatives. Working closely with a Business Development Manager, you'll support sector and service line priorities, helping senior colleagues focus on high value opportunities and client relationships.
This is a fast paced role where you'll take ownership of projects, coordinate activity across teams and act as the link between strategy and delivery, bringing structure and precision to business development activity.

The person
We're looking for someone who is organised and commercially aware, with a passion for driving growth. You'll bring:
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, or sales support within professional services
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills, including with senior stakeholders
- A solid understanding of how BD activity drives client growth and revenue
- Experience using a range of BD and marketing tools, with an openness to leveraging AI
- A proactive mindset with a focus on taking initiative and delivering with pace and precision

Desirable
- A relevant degree or marketing qualification
- Experience in sector-led or account-based BD activity
- Confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders constructively
The activities
You'll be involved in a wide range of impactful activity, including:
- Supporting the development and delivery of strategic BD plans aligned to firm-wide objectives
- Driving execution of annual plans, ensuring activity is delivered to a high standard and on time
- Managing pipelines, tracking opportunities, and ensuring consistent follow-through
- Coordinating sector meetings, preparing agendas, and following up on actions
- Delivering hands on support for pitches, proposals and other BD opportunities
- Supporting client growth through account plans, cross-selling initiatives, and client insights
- Producing management reports, pipeline updates, and budget tracking
- Conducting market and client research to identify opportunities and inform strategy
- Building internal and external networks, attending events, and spotting new leads
- Using BD tools, systems, and AI to improve efficiency and innovation
You'll be trusted to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across teams to deliver outstanding results.

Pre employment screening
