Location: Driffield, East Riding YO25

Salary: A GBP 26,000 per annum + commission (A GBP 6,000:A GBP 8,000 per annum OTE)

Department: Business Development

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8.30am - 5pm
  • Friday: 8.30am - 4.30pm

The Opportunity

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Advisor to join a growing team based in Driffield.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in business development, telesales or lead generation who enjoys identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and contributing to business growth.

The successful candidate will take a proactive approach to developing new business, managing leads, and engaging with prospective customers by telephone and email.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact prospective customers by telephone and email to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct research to identify potential markets, industries, and prospective clients.
  • Build rapport and establish strong relationships with prospects to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities.
  • Manage leads through the CRM system, ensuring accurate and timely records of all interactions and follow-ups.
  • Handle incoming enquiries and ensure they are appropriately qualified and routed.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to nurture leads generated through marketing campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to help identify opportunities for growth.
  • Deliver targeted business development campaigns in line with agreed objectives.
  • Maintain a professional approach across all written and verbal communications.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to wider business development strategies.
  • Complete specific campaigns and projects as directed by management.
  • Follow established processes and procedures.
  • Attend meetings as required and undertake other reasonable duties as directed by senior management.
  • Work with the Team Leader to prioritise workload and activities.

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and commercially minded, with the ability to engage potential customers and generate genuine business opportunities.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Previous experience in a business development, telesales, sales, or lead generation environment.
  • Strong telephone skills and a proven ability to generate leads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and sales activity.
  • Good research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify potential opportunities.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • A self-motivated and target-focused approach.
  • A professional and confident telephone manner.
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport.
