Role Description

The Business Development Aerospace role is a contract position focused on expanding Wafi Engineering’s aerospace client base and project portfolio. This hybrid role is based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a mix of on-site client and team meetings and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Identifying and qualifying leads in the aerospace sector
  • Conducting market research to understand industry trends
  • Developing outreach strategies to engage prospective clients
  • Preparing and delivering proposals and presentations
  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers
  • Coordinating with engineering teams to align solutions with client needs
  • Tracking pipeline activity and performance metrics

The individual will also support participation in industry events, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships to increase brand visibility and generate new business.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to evaluate opportunities, understand industry trends, and inform strategy.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage client expectations, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Proven Lead Generation experience, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and managing a business development pipeline.
  • Relevant aerospace or engineering industry knowledge, with the ability to understand technical offerings and translate them into client value propositions.
  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally within aerospace, engineering services, or technology solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time between on-site client interactions in the London Area and remote work.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with CRM tools and basic productivity software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in aerospace business development.
