Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and play a critical role in the energy transition with a strong long-term outlook. As our industry continues to develop, so do we! We are now looking for a Business Development Analyst to help build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports.

What will you do?

As our new Business Development Analyst, you will help create actionable insights based on auction and seabed leasing rounds, government targets, market intelligence, etc. Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions which meet client needs.

Your main tasks include:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis across the offshore wind sector, tracking project pipelines, opportunities, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports summarising pipeline opportunities and market developments for senior management.
  • Develop a network of relationships with stakeholders in the industry.
  • Support development and maintenance of stakeholder data, ensuring accurate records of engagements, leads, and opportunities.
  • Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events, promoting Cadeler and gathering intelligence.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes, tools, and reporting methods.

To succeed in this role

We are looking for a strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail, who has a genuine interest in the industry and market dynamics. A good communicator who enjoys working as part of a team to deliver results.

We think you will be a good match if you:

  • Degree in relevant discipline or a track record and proof of performance in a similar position.
  • Experience in a business analyst, market analyst, or business development support role (essential); experience gained within offshore wind, marine or energy sectors is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualisation tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience analysing data and producing clear reports or recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal
