The team
The Marketing and Business Development team consists of specialists across business development, CRM, digital, design, events, internal communications and PR.
This role reports to the Head of Business Development and will work closely with partners and colleagues across the firm, particularly within Employment, Financial Services and Products, Pensions and Insurance.
The role
This newly created role is split broadly 50:50 between developing and managing the firm's alumni programme and providing business development support to a portfolio of smaller practice groups. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the alumni programme, helping to strengthen relationships with more than 700 former lawyers and business services professionals, while also providing consistent business development support to a defined group of practices.
Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders, you will help identify growth opportunities, strengthen relationships and deliver initiatives that support the firm's business development and recruitment objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
