Business Development / Sector Management role in an international law firm. Aligned to the construction sector. London based with hybrid working.
This international law firm is looking for someone to lead on the BD and marketing strategy for their prominent construction sector group. This role will also get involved in the sector / practice management elements, making it a unique and exciting role on the market. The role will be supported by a BD Executive.
The role will involve:
- Working with the sector leadership team to implement strategic initiatives on an international level;
- Monitoring and reporting on market, client and competitor activities;
- Supporting with leadership meetings for the construction group;
- Working with the Head of BD to develop BD plans for the sector;
- Supporting and executing key client account plans;
- Delivering marketing campaigns and events for the group;
- Monitoring sector performance against financial, operational and BD metrics;
- Assisting in the development of business cases for strategic initiatives and lateral partner recruitment;

The role would suit an experienced BD Manager, with experience of targeting the construction sector and an understanding of trends in the market. Candidates will be from a law firm or a comparable professional services environment. Experience of operational / practice management duties would be highly desirable, especially exposure to analysing financial data.
