The role

A broad commercial and operations role for someone who likes talking to people and getting things done. You will work directly with the CEO, take over relationships we have already built, and keep the business side running while the engineering team focuses on the product.

What you will do

  • Build and hold relationships with business support bodies, enterprise agencies and innovation networks, and spot the funding and business opportunities coming through them
  • Write and submit grant and funding applications with input from the technical team
  • Manage our existing stakeholder relationships, keeping partners, funders and supporters updated and engaged
  • Reach out to new customers, build the relationship from first contact, set up commercial pilots and keep those relationships going afterwards
  • Handle procurement of components and materials, from sourcing and quotes through to delivery
  • Keep day to day operations, records and project coordination on track

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
