Are you a commercially driven Business Development Manager who knows how to open doors, build relationships and turn opportunities into long term partnerships? We’re recruiting for an ambitious and energetic Business Development and Partnerships Lead to join a growing organisation within the live entertainment and ticketing sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in expanding an external client portfolio, developing new commercial relationships and increasing the organisation’s presence across the industry. You will be engaging with everyone from venue managers and producers through to founders, commercial directors and senior executives, so we’re looking for someone who is confident building credibility at all levels. If you have a background or strong interest in theatre, live events, immersive experiences, attractions or hospitality, this could be a fantastic next move.

The role:

  • You will take ownership of generating, developing and converting new business opportunities, building a healthy and sustainable pipeline that supports long-term growth
  • Identifying and generating new business opportunities across the live entertainment and experience sectors
  • Building and nurturing a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
  • Developing relationships with key decision-makers and industry stakeholders
  • Understanding prospective clients’ needs and identifying commercially valuable solutions
  • Creating opportunities through networking, outreach, introductions and industry engagement
  • Presenting confidently to both operational and senior-level stakeholders
  • Managing opportunities throughout the sales process, from initial conversation through to conversion
  • Developing long-term client relationships that support sustainable commercial growth

Experience:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or commercial partnerships.
  • A track record of generating, developing and converting new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
  • The confidence to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • A proactive and organised approach with excellent follow-through
  • The resilience, motivation and tenacity to deliver against commercial objectives

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience within ticketing, theatre, live events, attractions, hospitality or experiential businesses would be highly advantageous
  • An existing industry network would be beneficial, alongside exposure to ticketing technology, CRM platforms, audience development, immersive experiences or venue operations
