Location
You must currently live in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Cyprus, or Hungary and have the legal right to work there.
Working arrangement
Fully remote. As a global company, however, we support flexible working arrangements, including remote and hybrid working options where local office facilities are available.
Employment and contract type
Permanent, full-time.
Salary
UK: £30,816 to £34,201 per annum (Grade 4).
Cyprus: €26,361 to €29,695 per annum (grade 4).
Ireland: €37,626 to €44,322 per annum (grade 4).
Hungary: 9,900,102 HUF to 10,987,584 HUF per annum (grade 4).
Poland: 111,453 to 123,698 PLN per annum (grade 4).

The main purpose of your role
The Business Development and Sales Executive will be responsible for winning new business through a combination of proactive outbound sales activity (80%) and effective conversion of inbound leads (20%). This is a 360 new client acquisition role focused on identifying, engaging, qualifying, and converting prospective clients globally. Success is measured by new client acquisition, win rate, and revenue generation.
The role requires high-velocity outbound prospecting, strong consultative selling skills, and the ability to convert marketing-generated and organic inbound enquiries into long-term clients. Due to the global nature of the role, flexibility to work across time zones may be required.
What will you be doing as a Business Development and Sales Executive?
Sales processes and targets
- Following defined outbound and inbound-sales processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Being accountable for achieving a personal sales target.
Sales activity
Outbound
- Researching, identifying, and targeting prospective clients aligned with company strategy.
- Engaging new referral partners to generate qualified leads and revenue opportunities.
- Conducting outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn/social media outreach, and other prospecting activities.
- Qualifying opportunities and managing prospects throughout the full sales cycle.
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Generating new business meetings through proactive outreach and networking.
- Participating in bids and tenders generated through outbound activity and strategic targeting.
- Representing the company at international events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.

Inbound
- Responding promptly to inbound enquiries generated through the website, marketing campaigns, events, and referrals.
- Qualifying inbound leads and matching solutions to client requirements through a consultative approach.
- Converting qualified opportunities into sales using the company’s three-step sales process.
- Coordinating a smooth handover to Client Management, Commercial Operations, and the Onboarding Coordinator following signed proposals and service agreements, where applicable.
- Providing structured feedback to Marketing on lead quality and campaign performance.
- Developing and maintaining a pipeline of prospective clients.
Bids and tenders
- Participating in bids and tenders generated through outbound activity or inbound channels, as directed by the Global Inbound Sales Lead.
Events
- Representing the company at domestic and international events, trade shows, online forums, and speaking opportunities to promote products and services.
- Identifying and participating in relevant local networking opportunities to build relationships and generate business opportunities.
Customer relationship management
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key prospects and stakeholders.
Reporting
- Tracking and reporting on inbound lead activity and performance using Salesforce.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date Salesforce records across all opportunities and deals.
- Monitoring sales reports to maintain a healthy pipeline and support accurate sales forecasting.
Collaboration
- Collaborating with Commercial Operations and the Onboarding Coordinator to ensure a seamless handover of successfully converted new business.
- Providing structured feedback to the Marketing team, via the Global Inbound Sales Lead, on customer interactions, lead quality, and brand perception.
Budget management
- Submitting individual expense costs to the Global Inbound Sales Lead for approval and tracking purposes.
Market analysis
- Staying up to date with relevant industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree educated or with at least 3 years’ experience in global services sales.
Desirable
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Knowledge & experience
Essential
- At least 3 years’ experience in global sales.
- Experience working for a global organisation.
- Demonstrable experience in B2B new business sales.
- Experience generating new business through outbound sales tactics.
- Experience converting inbound leads into closed business.
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and Sage People.
- At least 3 years’ demonstrable experience working in a sales environment or related function, such as business development, client services, or product sales.
Desirable
- At least 3 years’ experience in the Global Mobility or Employer of Record (EOR) sector.
- Experience developing and managing partnerships and referral relationships.
