A highly regarded law firm is looking to appoint a BD Assistant to join its established Business Development team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to develop their business development career within a professional services environment. Working closely with the Bid Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of successful tenders and proposals, helping the firm secure new business opportunities.

The Opportunity

You'll join a collaborative and high-performing Business Development team that works closely with stakeholders across the firm to deliver compelling tender submissions, drive business growth and support client development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and monitor tender opportunities across relevant sectors and practice areas
  • Manage bid administration and coordinate key deliverables to ensure submission deadlines are met
  • Prepare and submit tenders through online procurement and tender portals
  • Maintain tender trackers and pipeline information
  • Draft and collate non-technical tender responses using existing bid content and marketing collateral
  • Liaise with fee earners, partners and business support teams to gather information required for submission
  • Coordinate compliance requirements and contract review processes
  • Collect and maintain bid feedback on both successful and unsuccessful submissions
  • Manage and develop the firm's bid library and precedent database
  • Source historic submissions and supporting content for future opportunities
  • Support the continuous improvement of bid processes, content and best practice

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational ability
