Role Overview

To provide effective administrative, client-service and business development support to the Business Development & Customer Service Manager, helping to deliver an excellent client experience while supporting the growth and development of the conveyancing business.

Key Responsibilities

The role will involve working closely with the Business Development, Customer Service and Conveyancing teams to ensure enquiries, client communications, referrals and business development activities are handled efficiently and professionally.

Business Development Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Business Development & Customer Service Manager.
  • Assist with maintaining and developing relationships with introducers, agents, brokers, developers and other professional contacts.
  • Support business development campaigns, events, meetings and networking activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development contacts, referrals and opportunities.
  • Assist with preparing reports, presentations, correspondence and business development materials.
  • Monitor and follow up business development enquiries and referrals.
  • Help track referral sources and identify opportunities for further engagement.
  • Assist with maintaining CRM systems and ensuring contact and referral information is kept accurate and up to date.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of newsletters, updates and other client/referrer communications.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure new referrals and enquiries are passed to the appropriate person promptly.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn CRM and case management systems.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience within a conveyancing, property, legal or professional services environment.
  • Understanding of the residential property/conveyancing process.
  • Experience working with a CRM or customer relationship management system.
  • Experience dealing with estate agents, mortgage brokers, developers or other property professionals.

Success in the role will be measured through:

  • Timely and effective support provided to the Business Development & Customer Service Manager.
  • Quality and responsiveness of client and referrer communications.
  • Effective follow-up of enquiries, referrals and agreed actions.
  • Contribution to customer satisfaction and service improvements.
  • Support provided to business development activity and relationship management.
  • Consistent delivery of high-quality administrative support.
