Intro
There's FX Hedging. And then there's Bound.
As businesses scale globally, they're exposed to currency volatility that can hit margins hard, especially when markets get uncertain. 96% of the FTSE 500 hedge that risk. Only 4% of SMEs do.
Bound exists to close that gap. We've built modern, technology-driven hedging technology that lets finance teams set it, forget it, and let it run, instead of chasing brokers and second-guessing spreadsheets.
We're backed by $25M from investors behind Wise, Klarna, N26, Stash and Xero, and we're growing fast, 3× year-on-year, with our GTM function alone up 4× this year. We're consistently ahead of target, and we're just getting started.
The role
The Business Development Associate (BDA) is the entry point into Bound's sales organisation, the first step on a clear career path: Business Development Associate → Business Development Manager → Account Director → Head of Desk.
This is a foundational role for someone who wants to build a career in B2B sales within fintech. You'll be the engine that keeps the top of the funnel full, generating and qualifying leads, booking prospects into events, and supporting the day-to-day running of the sales team. You won't be expected to close deals in this role, but you'll get direct exposure to the full sales cycle, the FX market, and how a fast-growing fintech sales team actually operates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
