💰 £30-40k + £10k OTE

About Shellworks

At Shellworks, we’re on a mission to make plastic waste a thing of the past. We’re creating a new generation of materials - sustainable, high-performing, and designed to disappear. By reimagining how materials are made, we’re tackling one of the world’s most urgent environmental challenges.

You’ll be part of the Commercial team with an ex-founder in the circularity space, a biologist turned expert business developer and a technical engineer turned commercial manager. You’ll be supporting our growth to replace plastic at scale and working closely with our amazing creative, growth team and our founders.

Your Mission

Your mission is to 3x new business. You'll own our top of funnel efforts, focusing on new business development, discovery and lead qualification. You'll combine your love for the hunt, with your obsession for delivering exceptional customer experience.

Your Impact

  • Grow new business by 3x year on year
  • Convert inbound leads to qualified opportunities.
  • Work with the growth and commercial team to identify new opportunities through outreach and referrals.
  • Pitch our products to new customers and refer them to the commercial managers to manage the project through to a purchase order.
  • Travel to the US and Europe for relevant business development events like trade shows, founder networking, etc.
  • Help us achieve our 3x revenue target by increasing qualified opportunities and closed won results.

  • You’ve spent 6 months-1 year in a customer -facing role (front of house, BDM, BDR, Account Manager, etc.)
