About Us

We are part of the Direct Group, a leading UK provider of debt recovery, legal and enforcement services. Through DCBL and DCB Legal, we provide businesses with an end-to-end solution covering pre-court recovery, litigation and enforcement.

We’re looking for an ambitious Business Development Associate to generate new business, build relationships with decision-makers and grow revenue across both brands.

The Role

This is a target-driven sales role focused on identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities.

You’ll prospect for new clients, engage senior decision-makers, understand their challenges and demonstrate how our services can help. The role includes telephone sales, digital prospecting, client meetings and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate, manage and convert new business opportunities
  • Prospect via telephone, email, digital platforms and business intelligence tools
  • Engage Finance Directors, Credit Controllers, Business Owners and senior management
  • Manage inbound enquiries and follow up opportunities
  • Conduct client meetings via Teams, Zoom and face-to-face
  • Build strong client relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Achieve agreed lead generation, conversion and revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your pipeline
  • Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding experience

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
