F-CAD is a well-established Scottish business providing a complete CAD design engineering service that adapts to the needs of businesses that we partner with. We deliver targeted support which ranges from additional capability alongside existing teams, through a full end-to-end Design-to-Manufacture partner delivering the entire development process.
Because of increasing project requirements, we are seeking to recruit a talented individual into our growing business development team.
Objectives for the Role
- Understand positioning of F-CAD in the marketplace
- Match positioning of F-CAD with potential targets and shortlist
- Create detailed analysis of the target businesses and potential entry points
- Generate personal contacts via LinkedIn, phone or other appropriate sources
- Generate qualified leads that can either be closed directly, or work with the rest of the team to close opportunities
- Use the knowledge gained in the process to continuously measure and improve the lead generation

Ideal Candidate
- Graduate in business development / market development / sales
- Experience in a B2B environment preferred
- Process orientated
- Strong interest in engineering
- Actively building industry links
- Driven self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent knowledge of the social media process and able to create content streams.
- Outgoing personality capable of engaging at all levels

We are looking for a talented individual who is highly customer focused, self-driven and committed to succeeding as part of a motivated, high performing team. Salary is between £28,500 - £33,000 depending on experience.
The role is remote however customer visits may be required.
We offer full support in the role with ongoing training and personal development, with full involvement in planning and delivering the business through structured whole team events. Because of the need to meet as a team we are looking for candidates located in North East England or Scotland.
